I checked the salary for Elliot Sander, CEO of the MTA on your databases. It has him down for $290,000 per year. I read an article about him giving himself a raise in June 2008 of $10,000. The article said his salary was $340,000, bringing his salary as of June 2008 to $350,000.

That's a big difference between what SeethroughNY has and what his salary is reported as. Can you tell us why this is?

The data posted on SeeThroughNY is provided directly through the governing agencies. In the case of the MTA, they have provided us with that data. If you can provide a link or reference to the article, we would be happy to look into it.

Here's a link stating he will get one years pay as severance which amounts to $350,000.
